Siderius Developments Ltd. has applied to the City of Kingston for an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment for Block 2 of Union Park Kingston, the former Prison for Women building. The application would permit a year-round indoor artisan food market on the ground floor, with offices and/or rental apartments above; the residential use is an existing permission.
The City will hold a community meeting on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 216 Ontario Street, with an option to attend online. A City staff report will be available on October 2.
